Does my audio ever leave my computer?
No. The speech model runs on your own processor. Your audio is not uploaded, not stored on a server, and not used to train anything. The only network use is the one-time model download when you install.
When does it launch?
November 2026, Windows and macOS together. People on the list hear first, and the first 1,000 pay half.
How is this different from other dictation apps?
Most send your audio to a server and charge monthly. Aloudly runs entirely on your computer, works offline, needs no account and is paid for once.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes, once the model has downloaded. Dictate on a plane, on a train, or with the wifi off.
Is it really a one-off payment?
Yes. No subscription and no per-minute cost. The version you buy keeps working whether or not we ship another update.
Do I need to make an account?
No. There's no sign-up and no profile, because there's no server to keep one on. The list is the only email we'll ask for.
