Terms

Using this site and the list.

Last updated [DATE]. Version 1 draft.

Draft. These are the terms for the website and the pre-launch list only. The licence for the app itself (the EULA) ships with the app and will be linked here at launch. Have a solicitor read both once before a paid tier goes live.

Who we are

[REGISTERED NAME] Ltd, a company registered in [SCOTLAND / ENGLAND AND WALES], company no. [NUMBER]. Registered office: [ADDRESS]. Email hello@aloudly.io. [VAT no. [VAT NUMBER] once registered.]

This website

You may read and link to aloudly.io freely. The text, illustrations and design are ours; the app logos shown belong to their owners and appear only to show which apps Aloudly can type into. We try to keep the site accurate but it describes a product that is still being built, so features, dates and prices can change before launch.

The list

Joining the list means we will email you once when Aloudly ships, with the launch offer. Nothing else. You confirm by clicking the link we send you, and you can leave with the link in any email. How we handle your address is in the privacy notice.

The launch offer (half price for the first 1,000 confirmed addresses) is made in the order addresses are confirmed. We will honour it for people on the list at launch, and we may close the list early if it fills.

Prices

Prices shown on this site are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. They are indicative until the day you can buy; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout.

The app

When you install Aloudly you accept its licence, which comes with the installer and will be published at aloudly.io/terms at launch. In short: it is for your personal or internal business use, your recordings and transcripts stay on your computer, transcripts and summaries can be wrong so check anything important, and your statutory rights are not affected.

Liability

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit. Otherwise this site and the list are provided as they are, and we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you used them.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also rely on the consumer protections of, and bring a claim in the courts of, where you live.
