What we collect, and what we don't.

Last updated [DATE]. Version 1 draft.

Draft. The bracketed items are filled in when the company is registered. Do not publish the list form until they are.

Who we are

Aloudly is made by [REGISTERED NAME] Ltd, a company registered in [SCOTLAND / ENGLAND AND WALES], company no. [NUMBER]. Registered office: [ADDRESS]. We are the data controller for anything described on this page. Email hello@aloudly.io about any of it. ICO registration: [ICO NUMBER].

What never reaches us

The Aloudly app runs on your computer. Your audio, transcripts, meeting summaries, tasks, dictionary, snippets and voice-prints are processed and stored on your own machine and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We cannot see them. You can delete them in the app (Settings, Clear history, and the voice-print controls under Meetings), or by removing the app's data folder.

Because of that, we are not the controller of what you dictate or record. If you record other people, especially at work, you (or your employer) are responsible for telling them and for having a lawful basis. Voice-prints used to tell speakers apart are biometric data under UK GDPR.
